Gentrie has become quite the little monkey. She climbs on everything, we are always catching her on top of the kitchen table or some of her toys.

Gentrie and I went to Goblin Valley with Grandpa Neeley and some Neighbors. It was very interesting and I don't think that we will be doing very many more camping trips without Daddy.
On the way there she had a diaper blowout, just urine thank goodness, and her car seat was soaked. When we got there she fell out of the camper door and cut her lip and bled all over the place. The next morning in the shower she pooped on the floor. That night I put her in her car seat for dinner and she gagged on some food and threw up all over herself and the car seat. Then she woke up in the middle of the night with a fever. All that said we had a way fun time when there wasn't something crazy going on. Thanks for the fun trip Gentrie!!!

We went bowling with Fernanda and Dave's little bro. Gentrie loved it! She even got a strike.. Not that she knows what that is she just loved to push the ball down the lane.

Fernanda and I took Gentrie to the Zoo while she was visiting us. We saw all of the Babies, they were all so cute. Great time to go to the zoo.

Our friend Fernanda came to visit us from New York, so we went to Las Vegas. Gentrie stayed at home, we missed her so much, but we had a good time too.

Aimee and David spent the night at our house, and went to breakfast with us the next morning. Gentrie and her Uncle David shared a drink together. What a brave guy, I hope he didn't get any backwash.

This summer one of Gentries favorite things to do at Grandma and Grandpa Neeley's was to hide in the corn with their dog Sadie. She follows that dog everywhere, they are best friends its really cute.

One of our camping trips this year. She had a lot of fun, and made Dave and I very tired because she refused to sleep. It was fun to watch Gentrie and Josie play together, they are both so cute!

Dave and I took his little brother, David to Ensign Peak for one of their activities. Gentrie had a lot of fun she really likes David.

Gentrie got her first big Owie. We were barbecuing at the lake and she tripped and fell and hit the bbq. She cried for a minute and then she said, " Hot, Hot!" She is such a tough kid, thank goodness. It is healing really well so far and we are hoping that it doesn't scar.

Ride em Cowgirl!! Gentrie absolutely loves Sadie, they are best friends. She loves to go and sit on her when she is laying down.

We entered one of our Tent Trailers in the Riverton Parade this year. It was a huge success, lots of work and lots of fun. We plan on doing it again next year with a few changes....

I just started babysitting our friends kids: Lexie, Caden, Josie, and McKai. Gentrie has a lot of fun playing with them all day and she is best friends with Josie.

Gentrie has fallen asleep in her high chair twice now. It is the funniest thing, I don't know how she can sleep like that!! The best part is that I can completely clean her hands and her face without her waking up...

Gentrie playing Guitar Hero with her cousin Jake. We had a lot of fun when he came to our house and we were glad to see the Player's while they were here and we are excited to see them again.

We went camping this year with Phil, Cari, and their kids, and Cori, Brian and their kids. We stayed by Pine Lake near Bryce Canyon. It was really pretty and Gentrie had a lot of fun playing in the stream and getting really dirty.

Dave joined the Big Brother Big Sister program and was matched with a little boy named David. They have already had a lot of fun together this summer and they have a lot more fun adventures ahead. David and Gentrie really get along well, he is always making her laugh and he is her new best friend.

We went and spent a lot of time at Temple Square. Gentries favorite things there are the fountains, she wants to play in all of them.

Our Friend Fernanda came to visit us from the Dominican Republic. We went to go and hike up to Stewart Falls but there was too much snow so we just had a snow ball fight instead.

Gentrie had a lot of fun riding next to her cousins on Trax. She thought it was cool that she got to sit by herself

She has such a good little cousin. Evan was really good at holding her hand and making sure that she didn't get into any trouble.

My family, Gentrie and I all went to Temple Square on a weekday to look at the pretty flowers and to go and see Memorial Park. She had fun hanging out with her Grandpa!!

So Gentrie has been walking for quite a while now and we are very excited about it, but we have to admit that it has made things a little bit more difficult. She can get into things way faster and way easier. Church is impossible now because she isn't afraid to just leave us and take off walking around the sacrament meeting room waving hi to everyone. We love it though, it is cute to see how friendly she is and we "look forward" to the day when she can run!!!!

Gentrie went swimming with her Daddy when we stayed in Midway for her Mommy's birthday. She learned to jump off of the side to her dad and now she will jump off of counter tops and refrigerators.

Here is my Teddy Bear Birthday Cake. Mommy made it so that it would be easy to pick up.
However it took me a long time to want to touch my cake. Once I did I made a big mess.

Time to get cleaned up. The bathtub was clean before I got all washed off.

Gentrie was a cute little lady bug for Halloween. The first time that we put her costume on she wouldn't put her arms down because she didn't want to touch her tu-tu. She got used to it eventually.

Monkey Business

After we got back from Vegas Gentrie discovered that she can climb up the couch and look out the window. It is her favorite thing to do now.
She also discovered that she can see out Mommy and Daddy's window too. If we try to pull her away she gets really angry with us. What a little stinker!

I learned how to hold the bottle all by myself. I had to use my hands and feet at first but I figured it out.

Work Party

They had a game at Mom's work party and you had to spray paint your hair. I didn't have to join in but I really liked it.

I liked seeing all of the animals at the petting zoo. I only liked to pull their hair I don't know how to be soft yet.

Stewart's Cascade

This was my very first hike. Stewart's Cascade is in American Fork Canyon, it is our favorite canyon.
When we finally made it to the falls, we were all so hot and tired that none of us minded that we were getting wet . Gentrie even enjoyed getting sprayed by the mist.

Here I am with my good friend Jed. He walked behind me the whole way and made sure that my hat stayed on my head. What a good guy! He may be the nicest curly haired man in the United States.

Helmet Hair

When Gentrie was 5 months old she was diagnosed with plagiocephaly. Which means that one side of her head was flat due to resting on it too much. She got to wear a helmet for 3 months and now her head is perfectly round and beautiful. We had fun decorating it.

Luckily it didn't have any effects on her sleeping. It did however make her cheeks look bigger than they already were.

Gentrie has always been a sweet girl. It was funny to put her into this pot and watch how excited she got. I don't know about you, but I certainly wouldn't be so calm if I were bent in half like that.

The Bear Lake Monster

These are pictures from our recent trip to Bear Lake. We recently went to get pictures taken professionally, and after everything was said and done we didn't like any of the pictures. This was taken by a friend of ours with our video camera and it is one of our favorite family pictures. Lesson learned.

This morning after Gentrie got fed I was playing with her. I lifted her high above my head and was making noises at her. She looked right at me with a smile on her face and threw up right into my mouth. I now know what breast milk and stomach acid taste like when they are mixed. I think that she did it on purpose. Now she is grounded this week.
